We have been working hard behind the scenes and through the great work of Jennie Brockman we have obtained a grant from the City of Hobsons Bay to run some Music Wokshops for students in our area'. This is a great way to put something back into the local community and at the same time sow the seeds of blues music to the youth of the West.
The Timetable of events is a follows:
- May 7th 4pm to 4:30 - Performance by local band Daze of Bliss then Guitar workshop from 4:30pm to 6
- May 14th 4:30pm to 6 Guitar workshop with Ron Tabuteau
- May 21st 4:30pm to 6 Drumming workshop
- May 28th 4:30pm to 6 Singer/songwriting with Kerri Simpson followed at 7pm with local band Daze of Bliss and then at 7:45 to 8:30 a performance with Kerri Simpson and friends
All the workshops will be held at the Williamstown RSL's function room. We thank the management of the RSL for their kind support |
